This site features dispersed campsites, a vault toilet, and picnic areas. Nearby recreation opportunities include birdwatching, off-highway vehicle driving, and hunting. The Cherum Peak Trail is nearby for hiking. Located at a 6,000-foot elevation, this site is located in a picturesque woodland consisting of pinyon pine and juniper.
