It is located on western shore of the famed Lake Tahoe (Da ow aga), far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Washoe Tribe has been a part of the Meeks Bay area of Lake Tahoe (Da ow aga) for many millenium. Their link to the land is an important part of the Meeks Bay Resort charm.
