This campground is located 24.5 miles west of Creede on Forest Road 510. It is completely hidden from FR 510 and has 21 sites with parking spurs, tables and a fire ring in each. Garbage cans are centrally located. Firewood is not provided. A host is stationed at the campground. It is adjacent to North Clear Creek which is great for fishing. Some sites are in sunny openings, while some sites are screened and shaded with small aspen/spruce/fir. This is a good general area to observe and take pictures of the aspen colors in the fall, and maybe see a Moose.
