US Forest Service · Indiana

Saddle Lake Rec. Area in Indiana. Ringed marker is this site; the other dots are the 80 public campsites we map in Indiana.

This campground has 13 primitive campsites with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hanger at each site. The Saddle Lake Recreation Area was one of four that was associated with flood control lakes built along the Middle Fork of the Anderson River. A boat ramp for the lake and a hiking trail are also available in this area. The scenic, somewhat remote lake is an excellent place to get away from crowds and you will often have the place to yourself.
