If you are lucky enough to venture out on a sunny day, the rays of sunshine peaking through the tall dark green pines will take your breath away. Even on a rainy day, you can drive through the forest and see tall stands of longleaf pine with the ground covered in beautiful bright kelly green bracken fern.
