A short, fairly flat grade trail travels through the forest to the small, tranquil Crawfish Lake and a trail shelter. The lake is shallow and less than three acres in size. The trail continues around the lake. The portion of trail to the lake and the shelter is accessible with moderate difficulty. However, access to the water's edge and around the lake is not accessible. Activities include picnicking, photography, primitive camping at a three-sided shelter, and limited fishing. This area is an excellent habitat for raptors and salamanders.
