Yellow Pine Campground is the largest of three Wallowa-Whitman campgrounds along Highway 26, which is part of the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway . The campground offers campsites for both tents and small trailers, and has five accessible campsites. Popular activities include; overnight camping for visitors traveling across the state, picnicking and exploring along the scenic byway. There is also an accessible, barrier-free, trail to Wetmore Campground .
