Whiting Campground is located in Maple Canyon, just 3 miles from the town of Mapleton, Utah, at an elevation of 5,400 feet. Visitors enjoy hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Recreation Maple Canyon Trail, for hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking and horseback riding, begins nearby. It leads to a small network of trails with scenic mountain and canyon views.
