This campground is first come first serve and located near the Mt. Adams Wilderness. It is located in a high elevation stand of Lodgepole Pine and Silver Fir. It is a good place to camp prior to heading into the northern trails of the Wilderness. A wilderness permit is required to enter the wilderness. Permits are free and self-issued at the trailhead.
