This campground is less than one mile from the very popular Snowgrass and Berry Patch trailheads, which lead into the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The Klickitat Loop Trails is also in the area. The site is heavily treed with a mix of Doug Fir, Hemlock and cedar, providing cool shade on warm afternoons. Self-producing brook trout provide the bulk of the fishery here. Brown trout are stocked. Swimming and non-motorized boating are allowed. A wilderness permit is required to enter the wilderness area. Permits are free and self-issued at the trailhead.
